Carrier is the company that heats, cools and refrigerates the built world. Spun out of United Technologies in 2020, it has since reinvented itself as a pure-play climate business — buying Viessmann's European heat-pump giant for ~$13B, shedding its Fire & Security and commercial-refrigeration arms — and is now riding a surge of AI-data-centre cooling demand on top of its huge installed base of air conditioners, chillers and cold-chain refrigeration units.

From copper coil to cold air

Carrier buys copper, steel, compressors and electronics, builds them into air conditioners, chillers, heat pumps and refrigeration units, then sells and services them through a vast dealer network into homes, buildings, data centres and the cold chain.
